Your senses get a bit hazy and the excitement that comes up reminds you of your youth, back when everything was new and therefore exciting. “Crystal Haze is inspired in youth, the idea was that I wanted something that was referenceless, that I hadn’t smelt before. Because I think when are young each experience we have is a first time experience, no matter if it’s your first time trying something new, you have sex, you travel somewhere – it’s really exciting, not saying that it is necessarily beautiful or good but it is exciting. What inspired me was Nike Vapour Max release, because the sole being a full air system was something I hadn’t seen before, I’m not a sneaker freak at all but this shoe really made me go to the store and buy without thinking. I think there was a reference, there was a milestone, and this feeling that I got at 35 was the same feeling I had experienced when I was young. That moment was translated into a transparent, synthetic fragrance which is like coriander, which is actually in there, some people love it and others hate it, there is no in-between with this fragrance.
