Forty Thieves by Fort & Manle is a spicy citrus, a slightly sour opening of bergamot, apple peel and pink pepper are the precursors of the composition.
Densely loaded with labdanum, amber and oud at the base, they blend perfectly with the orange blossom heart of orange blossom, papyrus and rose, offering a subtle floral hue. The ethereal incense is woven into and out of the fragrance, making this oriental incredibly addictive. Layer by layer, amber and labdanum are the clear protagonists, fusing all the other notes without allowing one note to dominate another. As the story comes to an end, the soft, earthy sandalwood persists, offering a sweet, comforting warmth.
From dusk to dawn, a vast desert land, caravans of camels through the golden sand. Among the Bedouins they retreated, surrounded by tea, spices and delicacies to eat. A warm breeze carries the smoke of incense, laughter around the shisha as they joke.
