Description

811 Absoluto

811 Absolute by Giovana Antonelli. With its oriental notes that leave a trail of honey raised with ruddy saffron and intoxicating rum, this perfume expresses an alchemy of incredible sensuality. It was especially designed, dreamt, created like and absolute seductive weapon.

Gigantic urban jungle, Sao Paulo is a very creative and cosmopolitan city open to the world: a tropical New York. “Sampa”, as its inhabitants call her, exudes a formidable vitality mixed with “dolce vita”. Giovanna wished to salute this epicurean who reinventes herself relentlessly by offering her its most powerful perfume because it is here that the heart of Brazil beats the strongest!

I wanted to create a voluptuous, intoxicating and full-bodied signature that reflects the temperament of fire, both magnetic and sensual” Gio “and whose silky floral heart is gradually unveiled.“

Perfumer

Giovanna Antonelli - Mathilde Bijaoui

It was at the age of 13 that Mathilde Bijaoui decided to become a perfumer. Indeed, she and her school visited the Osmothèque, or International Conservatory of Perfumes, in Versailles. This discovery was a real revelation. From that day on, she realized that she wanted to become a perfumer. It had only one and only one objective: to appropriate this unique know-how to play with smells and reinterpret the scents offered by nature. She therefore trained to become a perfume designer. Since then, at the beginning of her career, she has been part of MANE, one of the most important composition companies in the flavours sector for the perfumery industry. While working with Mane allowed Mathilde Bijaoui to be in contact with all kinds of large luxury houses, she prefers to work for rather revolutionary and unconventional companies. Mathilde Bijaoui likes to think outside the box. She has created perfumes for Jacomo, Penhaligon, Etat Libre d’Orange and Tilda Swinton.

In general, Mathilde Bijaoui likes to make perfumes with a strong personality. She finds inspiration wherever she goes. She says she has already made perfumes based on “the rhythm of Brazilian bossa nova, the minimalist simplicity of contemporary dance, travels, particularly to Madagascar, modern art, the markets of southern France, the energy of New York,…”. Nevertheless, Mathilde Bijaoui often likes to integrate spices into her perfumes. This earned him the nickname “Spice Girl” in the perfume industry. Mathilde Bijaoui also likes to extract unexpected smells from nature. Surrounded by a solid team of researchers, it tries to extract scents never before used. This is made possible thanks to the Jungle Essence technology implemented by the MANE team. For example, Mathilde Bijaoui enjoys introducing the smell of figs or caviar into her perfumes. Highly recognized in the world of perfumery, the designer never ceases to surprise us, and this is probably far from over.
